We are currently looking for a technical, forward-thinking and passionate Head of Finance, who's keen to find an exciting, dynamic and pivotal role where you will be making a real difference to people's lives.

This is a permanent home-based role with occasional travel to their service sites (twice a fortnight), working 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday and offering a salary of £60K.
The role:
- Efficiently lead and develop a passionate finance team
- Oversee the finance functions, including accounting, auditing, treasury, budgeting and financial compliance
- Conduct monthly and quarterly reporting, annual financial planning and forecast
- Manage the organisation's financial performance and ensure financial strategies are impactful and aligned with their mission
- Advise senior leadership and trustees on financial implications of proposed plans and guiding critical decisions
- Prepare and present financial reports, support capital investments and spearhead cost-saving initiatives
- Update relevant policies, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and Charity Commission requirements
- Work closely with the senior leadership teams and heads of departments
You:
- A qualified accountant (ACCA, CA(SA), ACA or CIMA)
- Previously held a senior finance role within the charity / not-for-profit sector would be advantageous
- Experience in annual accounts, monthly and annual reporting, financial planning cycles, scenario mapping, internal audits and commercial pricing
- Previously lead, managed and inspired a team
- Able to think commercially and act strategically
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability effectively present and communicate complex financial information
- Have your own transport and able to travel to sites across England
Role Summary:
- £60K salary

- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- A DBS check will be carried out upon job offer
- You will be given a car / mileage allowance of 45p per mile
