We are currently looking for a System Implementation Project Manager (Finance) to join an internationally recognised not-for-profit organisation based in Northampton. This is a 12-month fixed term contract position based in the office and our client can offer full or part time hours (3-5 days per week). Our client is looking for someone to start asap and offering up to £50K pro rata dependant on experience.

The role:
- Develop a detailed understanding and assessment of the current finance system and the accounting aspects of the organisation
- Make changes to the current systems that would be considered necessary before the implementation of the new system
- Provide advice and guidance on operational efficiencies and options for the new system
- Write detailed reports which include costings
- Create and implement a new finance operating system, ensuring it aligns and is compatible to the current CRM system
- Ensure old structures and functions are modernised and up to date
- Effectively project manage the timeframes to be structured around the organisation’s financial calendar
- Support the Finance Manger with accounting and operational duties when required
You:
- Strong understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
- Experience with budgeting, including accounts payable and receivable
- Good knowledge of Sage
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, busy environment
- Ability and willingness to share knowledge, skills and ideas
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
The Package:
- 12-month fixed term contract
- Up to £50K dependant on experience
- 24 days holiday plus bank holidays pro rata (plus an additional 3 days which are used over Christmas)
