Job: Trainee Assembly Operative

We are currently looking for a trainee assembly operative with SOME assembly/engineering experience, to join a specialist engineering company in Northampton. The role will involve the electro-mechanical assembly of components for the purpose of building special purpose machinery.

You will be provided with full training and support; however previous technical experience is a necessity. You will need experience of working within an engineering / manufacturing environment and a passion to develop your skills further.

The ideal candidate will have either worked in a technical/engineering position, ideally working within electro/mechanical assembly and have a good understanding of the English language, due to the technical nature of the job. The ideal candidate will have a BTEC/NVQ (or equivalent) in some for of engineering.

For this you will receive a starting salary of around £17k + pension + 31 days holiday and paid overtime
