Job: CNC Setter / Operator – Star Lathes

My Northampton based client, who are a Precision Engineering company specialising in turning automotive components, are looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Setter/Operator to join their expanding and busy department.

Your main roles will be:

• Setting & Operating a variety of Star CNC Lathes that are Fanuc, Mitsubishi and Siemens controlled
• Checking the quality of the product being produced and ensuring the machines are running smoothly
• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE USING STAR LATHES

This is a full-time permanent position with plenty of overtime available at an increased rate, with clearly defined targets for progression with salary increases in place.

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of up to £13 P/H (£27k), depending on experience. The role involves working 6am – 4:30pm (with 30 min lunch) Monday – Thursday with a 3-day weekend and plenty of overtime available.
