PHP Developer / Web Developer is required by my client, an expanding industry leading Data Comms specialist. It is truly an exciting opportunity as you will be at the forefront of the development of their clients portals and web applications and will eventually head up a team of developers.
You should have design experience and good knowledge of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) to modify existing applications and create new web applications.
Design skills: HTML, CSS/ PH, MySQL and JavaScript
Beneficial skills: Flash, Photoshop/Fireworks, object orientated programming, project management and business analysis. You will be required to work on a mix of new projects and, existing clients, as well as sharing responsibility for the maintenance of the Company’s own network of information sites.
Responsibilities:
Support projects for new clients requiring their custom portal access to their telemetry devices
Creating front end portals and rear end MySQL/UDP socket connections for customer applications
To work from high-level business requirements
Work independently although usually under guidance
Project conception to launch
Shared responsibility for maintenance of company’s own network of information sites.
LAMP experience
Excellent PHP programming skills
Business Analyst skills
