As the Brand Planner you will be assisting Brand Manager and Category Manager securing business growth through achievement of category objectives. The Brand Planner provides a compelling shopping experience for consumers at all times by delivering a commercial edge. Being a successful Brand Planner you will work with the team to optimise WEEMEA growth whilst supporting global strategies.
You will be accountable for a specific categoryÂ’s sub-brand, developing and putting into action brochure/activation plan to achieve expected results and profit plans. As the point of contact for queries from Campaign, Creative, Marketing and Supply chain you must be an excellent communicator and able to liaise with people at all levels. This role involves product administration, including devising and updating tracking spreadsheets with plans and systems management.
Assisting with the briefing of Art Directors/Copy Writers with regard to brochure creative/sign offs and be available to deal with any creative issues. You will also be involved in Competitor and market awareness and have the ability to present internal workshops as and when necessary on related subjects.
You will be competent in the following areas:
· You will have a detailed knowledge of the market trends/competitor strategies to be able to feed and develop local plans.
· Have the ability to build Regional and Global relationships.
· Be able to liaise with several business functions and lead in decision-making when required.
· You will be challenged by being able to interpret FMCG trends via unique Channel.
· Manage demands from various functions to implement business plans.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 1 yearÂ’s experience of Marketing within a Category role and have a university degree.
