Our well known, established client requires a Facilities Executive to deliver on site facilities services. You will make sure that the site is safe, clean and tidy at all times, along with ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in good working order for their employees.

Duties include but are not restricted to the following areas:

Making sure that all offices meet the current H & S standards at all times
Engage in improvements to the offices where possible within agree budgets
Look after car park permits for existing staff and visitors
Manage the entry system and door entry cards for new starters & leavers
Organise couriers when necessary and deal with deliveries
Conduct risk assessments when required under supervision of Facilities Manager and act upon changes when necessary
Manage office stationery supplies, including ordering and tracking of usage
Be responsible for all photocopiers within the company
Manage eye test vouchers for employees on request

Liaise with Security Company who are employed to look after the building and be on call in case of an emergency
Deal with general building issues
You will be Fire Warden and carry out duties set down by H & S Executive
Manage archive storage facility and other adhoc duties

You must be able to work on site without supervision and be a self-starter and have a very pro-active approach to the role.
A “hands on” approach is essential along with an excellent eye for detail. Being able to build relationships with employees and external suppliers is key and be a strong time manager.
You will be trustworthy, honest and have the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information at times
Previous experience in Health and Safety responsibilities is a strong advantage as is a qualification in first aid.
A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are a must.

Good organisational skills along with a positive personality and the ability to get things done approach will make this an interesting and satisfying position.
