Are you a strong administrator with a minimum of 3 years experience? Alliance Recruitment is currently seeking a Project Support Administrator to work for a government associated corporate association. This position will be either a contract or permanent role depending on the candidate.
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks to include but not limited to;
· To administer the Project Board meetings, Workshops and Team Meetings. This involves setting up the meetings, circulating the agenda and papers before the meeting. Preparing minutes in relation to the outcomes of those meetings and circulating these minutes, once approved.
· To book rooms and provide general hospitality services To retrieve and collate details on project expenditure
· To act as the main contact with the Planning Support Team where the project is related to a Planning Application
· To input responses into the CAPS (Development Control) system from Statutory Bodies and Neighbours for projects related to determining a Planning Application.
· To administer change control procedures within agreed timeframes and procedures
· To set up and maintain project files
· To establish document control procedures and act as the Configuration Officer in line with the agreed procedures
· To compile, copy and distribute all project management papers within agreed timescales
· To collect actual data and forecasts on project activity and feed this into the Project Manager within the agreed timeframe and in line with the standard procedures
· To administer the quality review process
· To issue tender documentation to prospective consultants, maintain records in relation to the tender and contribute to the monitoring of contract performance against agreed schedules and budgets
· Updating the intranet with details of the project and project progress
· Maintain a system to track time spent by Project staff on the project
· Logging issues that arise in line with the agreed procedures
· To input information into the Corporation’s Programme Management System
As an individual you will be educated to GCSE level, especially Maths and English, you will possess a minimum of 3 years in an administrative role, have previous experience of report writing and be PC literate.
In addition you will be analytical, flexible, possess strong communication skills, be self motivated, have good presentation skills, be a team player and have excellent planning and organisational skills.
